I was recently at a doctor’s office and after speaking to his nurse, she kept being impressed by the fact that I didn’t wear my pants at my knees, that I articulated my words, that I didn’t have a tattoo or an earing, and finally, she suspected that I was from Europe because I lacked those flaws mentioned. So if I’m not a complete degenerate then I must be from Europe? What kinda shit is that. Anyways, that’s besides the point. My point is, I realized recently what I hate the most–you can call it a pet-peeve even. I fucking hate people who choose to stay ignorant. And the thing is, it’s not only people from poor neighbourhoods. Shit, some of my friends from the roughest neighbourhood in my city are much more intelligent than the rich kids who try to pose as scum. What’s worse than unintelligent guys in the city are unintelligent women who think it is cool to stay dumb. Who are people impressing with their stupidety? These people take the notion of “ignorance is bliss” to another extreme. I admit, if you’re stupid but you’re trying to get smarter by reading and observing and going to lectures then I salute you, but if you’re stupid and you know you’re stupid and you’re not doing anything about it… well, then you’re just part of the biggest problem North America is spreading.

And where the fuck are parents looking? When you see your kid walking around the house, spitting on the floors, speaking English in a way that makes the Chinese convenience store owner sound like Webster (yeah, the motherfucking dictionary… pick it up for once) then that certainly should sound some alarms. And then when these kids grow up, their parents wonder why their son or daughter don’t make enough money to support themselves. Blame it on the economy. No, bitch, blame it dropping out of school in grade 10 to go smoke weed in the parking lot. And it’s not even dropping out of school that keeps kids stupid. Because there are a lot of smart people out there who made it big that never got a formal education, and there are also a lot stupid motherfuckers who even completed university. It all depends on the person’s desire to become educated.

I think a good way to stimulate young people to want to get educated would be by having smart kids make fun of them. I’m being serious. Society has become so soft that any form of discrimination is frowned upon, and being ignorant is okay, but that needs to change. Make fun of stupid people to the point that they want to pick up a fucking book and learn how long it takes for the earth to spin around the sun: 365 days! That’s right, exactly 1 year. It all makes sense now, don’t it.

If you’re one those stupid fucking idiots who sits around watching reality shows, and who says things like “I’ll wait till the movie comes out” when someone tells you to read a book, hopefully this will motivate you to piss off and go get educated.

And to my grade 8 geography teacher (from Latvia) who tried to prove to me that Canada is a bigger country than Russia, I really hope you don’t ever decide to procriate.

For fuck’s sake, once I was sitting in lecture and saw a girl a few rows down browsing the web. Guess what site she was on. Yes, Facebook. And guess whose profile she was checking. Yes, mine! Fuck me, that’s disturbing. Some random girl from University who probably didn’t even know I was in the same class as her was apparently “friends” with me and was stalking me by checking out all my photos. Now that’s not a story that happened to a friend of a friend of mine— it happened to me. And yes, it was freaky as hell. So piss off all you Facebook stalkers. It’s creepy and weird and you need to go get yourself a life.
