Blogs About Blogging

I was looking around on the blogosphere, as they call it, and saw that it’s packed with blogs about blogging. Now people, the only blogs you need to read to learn more about blogging are ProBlogger, ThouShallBlog, LinkersBlog, Entreperneurs-Journey, and DoshDosh. Almost everything else out there is sheer useless shite that read ProBlogger and regurgitate everything Darren Rowse or his guest posters write. These impostor bloggers that give advice on blogging love saying things like “If I can make money blogging so can you.” First of all, the way you’re making money off blogging is by teaching how to blog without ever having a successful blog prior to your blog about blogging. Does that make sense? How can you teach me how to blog when this is your first fucking blog? I don’t know why but everywhere I turn I see these blogs about blogging pop up. It seems like there are more blogs about blogging than there are normal blogs about random shite. And the worst part about it isn’t that there are so many of these blogs, but they rank higher on Alexa than most other blogs. This means that it is more profitable to blog about blogging than to blog about shite you hate or like or experience or whatever the fuck. Now don’t go searching Shite I Hate on Alexa because it’s a new blog and will rank in the millions. You hear? DO NOT DO IT! Don’t embarrass me. All the good ranks are taken with blogs about blogging.

Why So Many?

Social media is a relatively new form of media that’s exploding all around us as you read this, and blogging is part of that social media. This makes more and more people want to get in on the action and start blogging, but they don’t know where to turn, so what do they do? That’s right, they go on Google and type in something like “How to become blogger.” Bloggers know this and so they think since blogging is new and can earn them lots of money, they start a blog on teaching wannabe bloggers how to blog. The shite they teach, however, is something they’ve learnt after reading Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income, which is a book I’m in the process of reading. Hell, maybe after I’m done reading it, I’ll start some blog entitled Get Rich Blogging dot Com with a slogan that reads something like “A Douchebag’s Guide to Me Making Millions While You Just Read My Useless Shite Without Really Benefiting.” Does that sound about right? Bah, if you’re not a blogger, you’re probably not interested in this rant, so instead I’ll just finish off by saying that the only benefit to having a blog is you save money on not having to see a psychiatrist. Because who really needs a shrink when you can talk about all the shite you fucking despise in this world through a blog like this one? And you may even make a few dollars doing it. Really gets the anger out. Phew. See, the blogging cure helped me live through another day.
